‘SSIPL Retail Limited’ started operations as ‘Moja Shoes Private Limited’.

1994

Set up first modern footwear manufacturing facility at Kundli, Haryana. Launched ‘Nike’ in India as a licensee through Sierra Industries Private Ltd.

1995

Became the first authorized manufacturer for ‘Nike’ in India.

1996

Forayed into retail with launch of first ‘Nike’ store in the country at South Extension, New Delhi.

1998

Commenced retail partnership with ‘Levi’s’.

2000

Established second footwear manufacturing unit at Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh.

2003

Launched ‘ShoeTree’, our own premium concept store chain.

2005

Introduced ‘Value Station’ concept stores.

2006

SSIPL became a public limited company.

2008

Established fourth footwear manufacturing unit at Selaqui, Dehradun, Uttaranchal. Opened 100th Nike store & 200th SSIPL store.

2009

Established fifth footwear manufacturing unit at Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh. Commenced operating Benetton factory outlet stores.

2010

‘SSIPL Lifestyle’ commenced retail operations.

2011

Appointed as authorized distributor for ‘Nike Equipment’ Pan India. Opened 300th SSIPL store.

2012

Launched own sports footwear brand ‘Mmojah’.

2013

Launched e-commerce portal, SSIPL Online.

2014

Launched ‘Sports Station’

2015

Commencement of manufacturing for Asics

2016

Launched www.sportsstation.in

2018

Launched first flagship store in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh
